Job Description

As a Care Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering all the relevant training programmes to new and existing Care Professionals to help improve their skills and competence within their role. 

Duties can include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver the Induction Training Programme for all new Care Pros, ensuring they attain the relevant level of competence to deliver their new role.
  • Carry out support visits, supervisions and competencies with Care Pros in either office environment or in client's home
  • Manage the My Learning Cloud system (MLC), ensuring training records and the team's training compliance is up-to date at all times.
  • Work alongside your office team to ensure Care Pros feel supported throughout their employment
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.  This role will involve covering care calls when required, this role is based on 9 - 5 however, you should expect on rare occasions to work evenings and or weekends. 

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

 

  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Exerience in working in health and social care environtment and any other relevant training related experience
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Highly resilient and positive with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
