We are currently recruiting for a Weekend On-call Supervisor.

Job Description

The is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Assistant to further their career. You will be performing a variety of on-call duties, working closely with the Care Coordinator and other members of the office team in order to provide the highest quality service to clients over the weekend. The Weekend On-call Supervisor works every weekend, working along side our current weekend on-call supervisor.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Arrive at the Home Instead Senior Care office by 4:30pm Friday afternoon. Go over weekend schedule and any trouble spots that might arise with Care Coordinator.
  • After review, transfer office calls to mobile phone. Client and CAREGiver schedules are printed from Home Instead software and placed in on-call binder for supervisor to take for the weekend.
  • During the weekend the supervisor’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  1. Answering all incoming telephone calls and responding to them as needed.
  2. Communicating with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise.
  3. Taking messages and logging all calls so that office staff can respond as necessary Monday morning.
  4. Using and monitoring the IQ call monitoring system.
  5. Contacting on-call manager when questions arise about clients or CAREGivers that require input from regular office staff.
  6. Filling in on assignments that come open until a replacement CAREGiver is found.
  7. Conducting client / CAREGiver introductions, observations and spot checks as required.
  8. Support CAREGivers in their role through coaching and providing supporting advice/information as needed.
  9. Highlighting any issues and identifying client trends
  • Arrive at the office by 9.00am Monday morning to pass on any pertinent information from the weekend. Also, return mobile phone, diary log, laptop and on-call binder.

Qualifications

We only ask for a few requirements...

  • A full driving licence and access to a car or motorbike
  • Professional approach and a passion to deliver the very best care
  • Positive attitude and a good level of written and spoken English
  • Previous experience in the care sector preffered but not essential

SALARY - £13,000

This role is subject to a DBS enhanced disclosure.
