Job Description

We are looking for a caring individual to support our clients in the Aylesbury and Thame area during the evenings with a variety of non-medical services that will allow them to remain in their own homes to enhance the quality of their life. This may involve preparing dinner, or settling the client down ready for night time. All of our calls are a minimum of 1 hour in length, so will allow time to be spent in conversation and companionship on all visits.

Due to the locations we cover, it is essential that you are a car driver. 

Carer Responsibilities:

·         Offer companionship and conversation

·         Home help services

·         Personal care

·         Monitor diet and eating

·         Provide medication reminders

·         Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff

·       *£250 Joining Bonus* paid upon completion of first 3 months employment. Terms apply. 

·        Competitive rates of pay (£11.75 Monday-Friday, £13.00 per hour on weekends).

·        Care Certificate Qualification & Level 2 NVQ opportunity

·        Paid mileage 

·        Minimum 1-hour call per client

·        Variety of contracts available, guaranteed hours, full time, part-time are all available. 

Qualifications

 Care Assistant Qualifications and experiences:

·         Excellent timekeeper

·         Working every other weekend is essential

·         Car driver

·        Must already be a permanent UK resident. 

Full comprehensive training will be provided to all candidates.

Additional Information

The role is paid at £11.75 - £13.00 per hour. (with further enhanced rates on bank holidays)
