Helping with mobility and transfers: using a stand and turn, use of a sliding sheet and in the future hoisting.

Medication support - administering medication from original packaging and pharmacy blister packs.

Client Description

Our client who is an 81 year old gentleman who lives with his wife. He was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP or Parkinsons Plus). As a result, he moves extremely slowly and requires help. He was a mathematician by career, a lover of Motown, going outside, western films, musicals and has travelled a lot in his life. 
The Live In CAREGiver will be working alongside our domiciliary team in the mornings and lunchtime as 2:1 support is required. Tea time and bedtime the clients wife wishes to work alongside our Live In CAREGiver.
