Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our family in the East Dunbartonshire as a Caregiver. We have recently went through a period of growth within the Business and are expanding our family of Caregivers to meet client requests.

Are you kind? Compassionate? Have a big heart and want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients? As a Support Worker, you will provide a variety of non-medical services in order to support clients within living independently in their own home. 

You Do Not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Morning Care Support Worker!

As a Morning Care Support Worker you would be required to work within the following times: (you have 15 minutes travelling time between clients)

Monday to Friday - 9am to 2:30pm 

Saturday OR Sunday - 9am to 2:30pm (alternative weekends)

Additional hours can be picked up outside these time slots. 

Duties:  

  • Providing personal care including a variety of non-medical services

  • Spend 1 hour or longer with every client you care for, seeing the same clients and the same times every week  

  • Carry out domestic tasks such as cooking & cleaning and accompanying your client to any medical/personal appointments 

  • Be a companion to your client caring for their mental health & wellbeing  

  • Build a trusting, friendly relationship with all clients 

  • Travelling between client homes means a driver’s licence & own car is essential  

  • Updating our fantastic App on each visit so family members can see how their loved ones are getting on

Qualifications

A driving licence is essential for this position due to the nature of the role and travelling to client homes throughout the day. 

Additional Information

You role is based within East Dunbartonshire however you may be asked to travel to area's within North Lanarkshire on occasion.
