Full-Time Home Care Deputy Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Deputy Care Manager with previous experience and a thorough knowledge of homecare services in the Broadstairs region. This job is to oversee and develop the service and this position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in the healthcare industry. 

Job Description

You will be working locally in a small, family business with a person-centred approach to both clients and staff. You will work closely with both the Operations Director and the Registered Care Manager to assure that a high-quality service is provided. This position includes a few unsocial hours and some weekend working. We need someone kind, sympathetic, and dedicated to making a significant and positive change to the quality of life for our clients.

Job Requirements for Home Care Deputy Manager:

  • Knowledge of the CQC's KLOE and homecare/domiciliary care rules and regulations is a must.
  • Strong Leadership and Management skills
  • Ensure successful operation of quality assurance systems
  • Be able to supervise and lead staff and lead teams
  • Ensure that staff are trained and equipped to carry out domiciliary care to the highest standards including audits.
  • Excellent knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, medication administration, and quality compliance.
  • Ideally should have recruitment experience, especially on Social Media platforms.
  • Experience in the health and social sector of no less than two years is required.
  • QCF/NVQ level 2/3, or above, and be willing to complete additional training (at Company’s expense), once the position is taken.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
  • You should have creativity, positivity, energy, caring, are all qualities we value and we are looking for someone trustworthy.

Pay Rates, Hours & Benefits

⭐ Circa £22,000+ per annum, depending on experience, plus mileage allowance.

⭐ Generous company pension.

⭐ The position will include some unsocial hours and some weekend working.

⭐ You'll be expected to participate in the weekend and late-night On-call rota.
