At Home Instead (Altrincham, Sale & Wythenshawe) our Care Assistants  (CAREGivers)  provide high quality companionship-led home care to our local clients every weekend, ensuring they continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Our call times are 1hour plus allowing you the time to make a difference. Supported by an office team dedicated to you and our clients needs.

Responsibilities may include

• Provide companionship-based support and care
• Breakfast or Evening meal preparation
• Supporting with medication.
• Carrying out general tasks like housework and laundry
• Helping with personal care like washing, toileting and supporting them to get ready for bed.
• Keep records of each visit on the App and benefit from regular communication with line manager and office staff
• Adhere to our COVID guideline to protect yourself and your community

As a Weekend Care Assistant you will work every Saturday and Sunday. We offer Fixed Hours contract (shifts). Calls start at 8am and/ or 5.15pm with a fixed duration of 3.5hrs – 5 hrs day, either mornings or evenings or both to suit you!!

*Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential*

What we offer our Weekend Care Assistant (CAREGivers) 

• Minimum 1 hour call times so you have the time to care
• Competitive hourly rate £10.70- £11.60 per hour
• A range of hours, Flexible or Fixed,  to suit all lifestyles with Option for extra hours
• The stability of a regular client(s) to build a lasting relationship
• You will only cover our local territory which takes in Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe
• Paid mileage

Essential Requirements

• Driver with access to a vehicle
• Enjoy working as part of a diverse team of all ages from a wide variety of backgrounds.
• Work the same pattern every saturday and Sunday 
• Smart phone to access our CAREGiver app to log daily activities and report any changes in your client
• Qualifications are nice to have but not essential as full training is provided
