Home Instead Isle of Wight are looking for one female CAREGiver with excellent verbal and written English skills to support a 100 year old lady living in her own home on the Isle of Wight.   The client has been recently discharged from hospital and is frail, prior to admission to hospital the client was able to mobilise with a frame, the hospital are hoping to provide physiotherapy at home but this isn't certain.   We are looking for a compassionate CAREGiver who is able to support this lady on a 2 week on, 2 week off basis.  There is a second CAREGiver for 6 hours a day to help with moving and handling.   The CAREGiver should be able to cook home cooked meals, traditional meat, potato and 2 vegetables.  CAREGivers shouldn't mind dogs as the ladies daughter visits regularly with a well behaved Labrador.  The client was born in her current home and wants to remain living there.  There is a large beautiful garden with stunning views across the channel.  CAREGivers should have a quieter nature however, the client is very sociable and likes the company of others.  The client enjoys watching programs with David Attenborough, Country File and Antiques programs, she also has interests in nature, animals and the Island.
