We are recruiting for a temporary experienced senior graphic designer to help us implement our marketing plans through national campaigns and locally supported operations. This is a 3 month interim contract for an agreed number of days per week.

You will be working closely with an agile, high performing, high energy Marketing Team and you will be fundamental in supporting the brand team’s path to achieve the wider business goals.

The main purpose of this role is to provide resources and assets across a range of channels and formats in support of our national campaigns and initiatives and also providing our network of locally owned offices with tools that will support them to grow their operation. Ensuring consistency of brand image in a multifaceted business environment is a key success factor.

Job Description

To provide temporary cover to manage the business and customer requirements for the creation and distribution of all Home Instead’s marketing collateral.

  • Deliver against set KPIs across a range of projects which meet the creative brief and brand guidelines.
  • Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistency and work closely with the marketing team develop designs and artwork within guidelines.
  • Take ownership of the web to print digital asset management system, liaising with the company’s preferred web to print supplier to generate live artwork files.
  • Producing high quality artwork, within brand guidelines, across a range of media including print, literature, web and digital;
  • Developing and managing the entire brand assets for Home Instead UK
  • Introducing an effective and efficient workflow process to the management of workload as well as ensuring a well organised system of filing, storage and access.
  • Managing the distribution, printing and delivery of marketing materials to relevant media owners
  • Liaising with suppliers and our external agencies
  • Assist with the design and production of video content and content
  • Develop a strong working relationship with colleagues across the wider Home Instead team

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in design production environments including:
    • Creating and delivering against a brief for print and digital design and the delivery of print ready artwork
    • Digital experience is desirable - in particular html skills for editing email content, gif animation and flash media creation
    • Fully conversant in Apple Mac technology and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, with particular focus on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Acrobat as well as having a high aptitude working in Microsoft Office programmes
    • A solid understanding of production techniques in the graphic design industry through your portfolio
    • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
