The pandemic has had an impact on many individuals, increase in social isolation, not seeing friends and family, not going for regular outings or shopping trips due to risks and restrictions. The older generation can face these challenges every day with many struggling with isolation, not seeing friendly faces regularly and being less able to go out and be an active part of the community.
This is where Home Instead Portsmouth’s CAREGiver’s can make the difference. The vulnerable adults within our community deserve our support, deserve our commitment and companionship, to feel valued and respected and to feel that they are active participants in their lives. We pride ourselves in providing quality care with minimum of 1 hour visits and through carefully matching our CAREGiver’s with our clients and tailoring each visit to suit their individual needs.

Whether you have an existing job or any regular commitments, we can provide you with a regular schedule that fits around you. We understand that your first visits can be daunting, which is why we will always introduce you to your clients and will match you together based on any similar interests or hobbies to make your first visit as comfortable as possible. Our perfect CAREGiver may be someone looking to start the new year with a change of career, a person with experience working in a care setting or caring for a family member. Whether you have experience or not we will provide you with all the training you will need, along with help to achieve your Care Certificate and supporting you through any additional training you may want to do. All we ask is that you are passionate about caring for others and pride yourself on being friendly and professional.

Our CAREGiver's work in the Portsmouth area only and should have access to reliable transport. Applicants should be over the age of 18 please.
