Job Description

Please note that this role is predominantly office-based in East Devon with the requirement to be able to network face-to-face (when guidelines allow) and create content for social media in the locality of East Devon and Mid Devon.

You will assist the Marketing Manager to passionately champion our brand, and importantly, the values of our business, internally and externally, with colleagues, clients and the wider community, using a predominantly digital marketing strategy with some traditional media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compose and post social media content that drives engagement across multiple accounts and platforms
  • Monitor and respond to social media interaction in a timely and professional manner
  • Employ online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages
  • Maintain and generate website content using SEO
  • Identify ways to improve our client acquisition journey and CAREGiver recruitment journey
  • Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends and translate those into new ideas for our business
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including videos, presentations and literature
  • Write and distribute press releases and editorials
  • Manage and maintain a CRM database
  • Use e-marketing tools to create engaging and relevant communications
  • Collate content to create and edit a weekly internal e-newsletter
  • Use design software to create and resize print adverts and other marketing collateral
  • Identify, plan, promote and attend community talks, promotional/recruitment events to raise brand awareness
  • Network within the health and social care sector to raise awareness of the Home Instead model of quality care
  • Conduct competitor analysis and draw conclusions and recommendations
  • Identify and pitch PR opportunities to the Marketing Manager, considering ways to maximise reach and return
  • Offer administrative support to assist with the efficient running of the department and wider business, including answering the telephone
  • Build relationships with external suppliers/designers and provide succinct briefs

Qualifications

  • A keen interest in digital and social media trends and updates

  • Discrete and trustworthy with confidential information

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least two years’ marketing experience
  • Demonstrable experience of using digital media in a promotional capacity
  • Targeted and automated e-marketing experience is desirable
  • A high standard of computer literacy
  • Excellent copy writing and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail
  • Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise
  • A background in the healthcare sector would be advantageous, but not essential
