Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Recruiter, to take on the pivotal role that sets the foundation stones for the company's success. This is a role about ownership. Taking responsibility in ensuring a pipeline of verified candidates through the recruitment cycle and onto on-boarding.

The recruiter role is a very key position. The successful candidate will be the primary “gatekeeper” of our company, responsible for sourcing and recruiting only the very best quality individuals who are genuinely caring and compassionate.  You will be embedding our culture and ethos from the word go.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of delivering a responsive end to end recruitment service. 

  • Experience of recruitment marketing with knowledge of preparing and managing recruitment campaigns. 

  • Good understanding of legislation relating to recruitment including Enhanced Criminal Record checks, referencing and Right to Work checks. 

  • Experience of using a variety of attraction methods to source high quality candidates including CV mining/search

  • Understanding of candidate screening and selection processes including psychometric assessment and competency based interviewing techniques. 

  • Flexibility to work outside 9-5 Monday to Friday to meet the demands of the business which includes being On Call (evenings & weekends) as part of a regular rota.

  • A good knowledge of health and social care as well as current legislation and practices around D&I, Equality Act 2010 to name a few.

We could give you another long list of things you will have to do but if you know talent acquisition you will already understand that you will need to own the role!

You will develop your strategies and evolve them as the weeks go by. This is a tough market and you will need to be resilient enough to make it work. 

The role is about finding the candidates not waiting for them to appear. You will be able to engage, assess and mentor them through the recruitment and on-boarding process, as such you will be the main point of contact for all candidates.

  • Manage all aspects of recruitment activity ensuring compliance with legislation, regulators, and Franchise Standards. 

  • Manage the end to end candidate experience creating a positive and engaging proposition. 

  • Proactively source candidates using a variety of sources which produce high quality candidates. 

  • Develop and maintain our approach to recruiting on social media by generating interesting, innovative and timely content and campaigns.   

  • Support candidate selection activities. 

  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of recruitment related information using the SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 

  • Utilise recruitment data to make informed decisions regarding recruitment approach.
