Various duties to include the requirements to support the clients.  Light housework, personal care, meals, assisting in the community, shopping £8.80 to £9.30 an hour, mileage and travel time paid

Being a driver is advantageous as you will be assisting clients with errands and accessing the community. 

The ability to undertake a DBS (criminal records check) and provide satisfactory references is also required.

We pay £8.80 to £9.30 per hour.  Travel time is paid.   As a Care assistant for Home Instead you will be fully supported in the field and have the opportunity to take on accredited training to develop and enhance your career. 

Most of our calls are a minimum of half an hour, we do not do 15-minute calls. 

You are not required to wear a uniform as our care is delivered in a personal way. 

We have an opt in/ opt out option for sleep ins, waking nights and Live in/24-hour care calls. 

We support you to gain your QCF’s in Health and Social Care and offer job specific City and Guilds training in Dementia Care and Palliative Care for those who want to do it.
