Job Description
The Field Care Support is expected to perform a variety of duties to ensure our service is meeting or exceeding the needs of Clients and to support new and existing CAREGivers to ensure they provide outstanding care.
Primary
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Clients & CAREGivers through support visits, observations, QA’s and Service Reviews.
Conduct follow up activities as necessary, reporting any serious issues to Management .
Conduct Client/CAREGiver introductions in line with franchise standard
To support the QA and Service Review processes, ensuring that QA visits and Service Reviews are conducted in a timely manner and care plans are reviewed in line with CQC requirements.
To ensure that our service is Safe, Caring, Effective and that we are Responsive and Organised to meet the changing needs of a Client Service.
To support a Client in a safe hospital discharge
Support, shadow and observe new CAREGivers, meeting the requirements of the Care Certificate during their 12-week induction process. Ensure process completion and feed any training needs back to the Trainers.
Collate all statistics relating to observations, support visits, shadowing, or supervisions in line with business processes.
Contribute to the positive recruitment and retention of CAREGivers including taking enquiries, interviewing, and following the onboarding process
To maintain accurate Client and CAREGiver records on the Electronic System ensuring all follow-ups are arranged and completed.
Provide care for clients as and when necessary.
Contribute to the retention of CAREGivers through engagement.
Monitor, mediate, and log both client and CAREGiver activity.
Always maintain confidentiality for all Home Instead Information, including client, CAREGiver & office data.
Participate in out of hours “on call” on a rota basis.
Have a good understanding of technology to support CAREGivers to use the IT system for accessing schedules/monitoring Client activity notes, administering medication ad completing tasks
Secondary
Attend Meetings/Road shows & other networking events as and when required.
Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
Participate in Daily Huddles and monthly team meetings, help deliver CAREGiver meetings and contribute to the CAREGiver and/or Client Newsletter.
Distribute leaflets and promote HISC as and when appropriate.
Qualifications
Experience In Homecare
Driver with own car to use for work
Living in Stockport

Salary £12,870.00
Hours Part time (evenings and weekends) 21 hours a week (negotiable) over 3 days (to include alternative weekends)

Expenses All reasonable out of pocket expenses and mileage at 45p per mile
