Job Description

We have a fantastic opprtunity for two friendly, bright individuals with strong communication skills who have worked in the care sector and are looking to progress their career to join our team.

As our Care Supervisor you are the main liaison with our clients and CAREGivers ensuring they receive the highest levels of service, care and support.

Main responsibilities of the role:

Care Supervisor– This role reports into the Care Manager and is a mainly field-based role with office based follow up. This role includes the following key responsibilities:

o Perform Client Quality Assurance assessments and Client Service Reviews & Risk Assessments to ensure that the Care Plan reflects the care being provided and clients are receiving an exceptional standard of care.

o Perform CAREGiver on-site assessments & observations (personal care, medication, moving & handling, Care Certificate etc.)

o Conduct follow-up activities as necessary, addressing and escalating any serious issues to the Client Supervisor as appropriate

o Support the client and CAREGiver relationship - performing introductions and providing guidance and training where required. 

o Provide short notice care cover if necessary

o Report upon weekly activities completed and visit audits

o Always maintain confidentiality for all Home Instead Information, including Client, CAREGiver & office data

o Evening and weekend On-Call duties when required

This role will suit a candidate who is a multi-tasker with a proactive and forward thinking approach. Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards Level 3.

Applicants must have their own transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Our clients are located in Harpenden, Radlett, St Albans and surrounding areas and as such there may be a requirement to travel to all of these locations during the working day.

The successful candidate will be working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm (20 hour week).
