How would you like to really make difference in these difficult times? As a CAREGiver for Home Instead you are no ordinary Care Assistant in Worthing and Steyning! With visits of at least an hour you will have plenty of time to provide our clients with whatever help they need. This can be help with getting up, washing and dressing. Help with meals, drinks and medication. A Care Assistant for Home Instead is also a trusted companion for our clients as we strive to cut out loneliness and isolation in our local community. As well as personal care we support our clients by taking them out shopping, helping with the housework, or even just a cup of tea and a friendly face.

There is no typical day working as a Care Assistant in Worthing and Steyning. However, one could start with helping Kate out of bed and have a shower. While she showers you could be preparing her breakfast and making her bed. Once Kate is has had her medication it’s time to visit Ken. Ken has Dementia. He gets confused easily and needs encouraging but can do everything he needs himself. After Ken is ready, comfortable and has everything he needs for his day it’s time to head to Mike. Mike has a leaning disability but really looks forward to being taken out for a few hours each week. This week it’s a trip to a local pottery café. Finally, a trip to check in on Mable for a cup of tea and to see how she’s doing with her jigsaw.

As a Care Assistant in Worthing and Steyning you are paid a minimum of £9.50 an hour for calls and most calls being paid at over £10.50 an hour. We pay mileage and on top of that we pay a travel allowance for the time you spend travelling between clients. No experience is required. Look to recruit people who simply want to make a difference to peoples’ lives. The best training in the sector is provided.
