Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Beverley & Hull. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help our clients remain independent in their own home.

Have you ever picked up a prescription for a friend or accompanied someone to the doctor?  What about helping someone at your local community hall or church group?  Maybe you simply lent your ear to a friend or offered a shoulder to lean on when someone has needed emotional support?

Becoming a CAREGiver is simply doing all those things for our clients to help enhance their quality of life and to help keep them independent in their own home.  With Home Instead, care means quality care. It means providing support that is completely personalised to the individual and is based on a close bond formed from shared experiences or interests and minimum one-hour visits.

Because of this, you can help children of ageing parents know that their loved ones remain safe and well, and cared for at home. You can deliver a rewarding experience to people who may be lonely or require a bit of extra support to retain their independence. An equally important part of helping older people remain at home is supporting them with personal care, which is a service our CAREGivers must be willing to provide when needed.

Qualifications

You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.  If you have a big heart, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people, our industry leading training, will teach you the rest!
