Qualifications

What does being a Registered Care Manager entail?

Full Time (40 hours per week) £36,000- £40,000 DOE

The Registered Care Manager will be responsible for our client’s care, through proactive management. They will be managing care for a group of clients, working closely with them, their families and other health Care Professionals to ensure they receive a quality person-centred service, and their needs are met to an outstanding quality.

The Registered Care Manager will also manage a team of Care Professionals, being their main point of contact and their team-leader. They will help to develop their Care Professional team to reach their full potential identifying talent for progression within the business. Communication is key in this role, so looking for a Care Manager that possesses excellent communication skills.

 

Essential Registered Care Manager experience required:

  • Extensive care experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service.
  • Converting enquires into clients at a rate on 30%
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in leading, training and managing a team to provide high quality domiciliary care services.
  • Have or be willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the care regulations.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills.
  • Be commercially aware
  • Passionate about providing the highest quality of care.
  • Demonstrate achievement of business growth targets.
  • Due to the need to support the On-Call function, which may require the support of team members out in the field in emergency situations, and the requirement to travel throughout the community to conduct new client assessments, you should have a driving license and access to a vehicle.
