Job Description

Would you like to make a positive difference to the life of an older person in your community? Then maybe becoming a Paid Volunteer / Befriender  Companion is the perfect job for you. 

We have roles available in the Crawley, Horley, East Grinstead, Copthorne, Crawley Down, Worth, Turners Hill, Lingfield, Forest Row, Blindley Heath and surrounding areas.

At Home Instead Senior Care, we provide high quality, person-centered care to enable our clients to live to the fullest as safely and independently as possible in their own homes where they feel their best.

You do not need to be trained or qualified to apply as full training is given to all new successful applicants and will be refreshed throughout your career with us. We carefully match our clients and Companions & CAREGivers based on similar hobbies and interest encouraging a natural bond to develop.

Our services are non-medical and can include companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, support with hobbies & interests and much more. There may be elements of personal care where you assist clients with medication or getting dressed and ready for the day in your visits to our clients. 

Specific days and times of work can be mutually discussed at the interview stage, but we do require all successful candidates to work either every other weekend or at least one day of the weekend. It is essential you hold a full UK driving license and have your own vehicle.
