Take a leap of faith this leap year...
Being a CAREGiver with Home Instead is a job that truly means supporting the person how they would like to be supported, having time to develop a lasting relationship that you could come to call friendship, the chance to make that person feel valued and special – which let’s face it, is all that most of us really want – to feel that there is one person who truly cares for us. At Home Instead we care and support all of our clients as if they were our own family members, our carers, are called caregivers, as that is truly what they do. They give care and support, not just helping with a task. Our caregivers are introduced to their clients before any care starts, so that there are no surprises for either client or caregiver, taking away the anxiety and fear that often accompanies receiving or giving care for the first time. The most important thing that Home Instead do differently is that each and every caregiver see the same clients on a regular basis, some caregivers have been seeing the same client for many years, harbouring a lasting, trusting relationship, to the point that it doesn’t really feel like work anymore. As a caregiver not only are you valued and respected by Home Instead, you are valued and appreciated by your clients. What more could you want?
Don’t be afraid, don’t put it off another year, you can make a difference and you can start right now by calling Amy on 019562 476720 to find out how you could be the next Outstanding Home Instead Caregiver
