Job Description

Accountable to the Care Manager, General Manager and Directors this is a joint role working alongside an established and experienced Care Co-Ordinator

 Job Purpose

The Co-ordinator is expected to do a variety of duties in the scheduling service for clients.  

The Co-ordinator is jointly responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships and continuity of care.

The Role

To be jointly responsible for managing all weekday rotas and staffing requirements

To balance CAREGiver flexibility with client’s need for regularity. Ensuring clients get what they need, when they need it.

To be jointly responsible for sending monthly schedules to all CAREGivers

To be jointly responsible for sending client schedules weekly as required and to inform clients directly of any unavoidable changes that may be required on a day to day basis

To be jointly responsible for new CAREGivers and existing CAREGivers doing shadow visits as required

To carry out any other relevant administration duties requested to support other members of staff in the office

To participate in the on-call roster on a regular basis both during the week and at weekends

To support and contribute to the hiring decision as needed

Qualifications

Skills required·         

Able to work between the hours of 08.00 and 16.30 (16:00 on Fridays

Have a logical mind set

·A people person

·Great at problem solving

·Good with numbers and spreadsheets

·Able to work to a strict deadline

· Excellent IT skills

· Be a quick learner

· Meticulous eye for detail

· Enjoys a challenge
