Home Instead Senior Care West Lancashire and Chorley based in Ormskirk, provides high quality care services to adults and older people in their own homes and was one of the first three adult social care services in England to be judged OUTSTANDING under the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) new ‘Ofsted style’ approach to inspection and regulation, and has since received a second OUTSTANDING rating in 2018 in 4 out of the 5 KLOE .

Due to our continued growth which has seen us recently open another office in Chorley we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant, preferably with experience in the care or health sectors, to join our team based in Ormskirk & Chorley .

We are keen to hear from experienced recruitment consultants who can build and develop relationships, have a keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills. You will be expected to understand the needs of our clients and business and be able to match appropriate candidates with vacancies.

It is important that you possess the drive and ambition to continue to help grow our business and improve the recruitment experience for our candidates and senior leaders, whilst building strong relationships in the community.

Role and responsibilities:

Ownership of all recruitment activities including but not limited to; advertising roles, sourcing candidates, arranging and conducting interviews, managing offers and on-boarding process.

Strong experience of recruitment delivery with an emphasis on direct sourcing, rather than managing agency suppliers

Lead on our recruitment and sourcing strategy

Developing positive business relationships with business leaders, community groups and organisations across the region

Provide market/talent segment knowledge and valuable insight

Screen candidates, conducting telephone interviews and advise hiring managers on recruitment.

Responsible for ensuring all job descriptions and recruitment processes are compliant with employment legislation.

Good business acumen with the ability to quickly develop an understanding of strategic priorities.

Ownership of our company’s profile, through various recruitment channels

Sourcing the best talent for our vacancies by head hunting through a variety of different jobs boards and social media platforms, advertising and networking events.

Maintaining regular contact with existing candidates

Ensure all candidate's right to work documents are checked and references are taken.

Produce and maintain a recruitment tracker, track candidates efficiently and review weekly.  

Create and build a talent pipeline of suitable candidates working closely with the senior management team to ensure candidates meet business need and ensuring our high standards of service are maintained.

Support the retention of staff through various initiatives, perform exit interviews, identify themes and trends of recruitment and retention and provide a monthly report to the Governance Meeting.

Ensure consistently achieving KPI's and targets

The Ideal Candidate will have:

 

  • The passion and desire to succeed
  • Experience in a recruitment or resourcing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and candidates.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge on GDPR and employment legislation.
  • Experience in designing, implementing and managing recruitment campaigns.
  • Experience in using Social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, job boards, excel and word.
  • A full UK driving licence
