Job Description

Home Instead Senior Care seeks a full-time Scheduler to work alongside our current Scheduler. The job involves many aspects of care coordination and office work including a high level of telephone contact with clients and CAREGiver’s, ensuring the clients have continuity of care and the most suitable staff members to match their individual needs.

The candidate will have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and will have the ability to communicate at all levels. You must be able to prioritise your own workload, work within a team setting and be able to consider business constraints and client’s needs. You will also need to have consistent and compassionate behaviour towards our Clients and CAREGiver’s at all times.

This role is highly demanding and requires excellent people skills, attention to detail and a high degree of resilience.

The Role: 

 

·         Organise all schedules and be aware of future staffing requirements

·         Ensure all staff and clients are aware of working schedules

·         Responsible for CAREGiver holiday allocation

·         Provide support to on-call staff and be part of the on-call rota

·         Be responsive to changes in the schedule and liaise with relevant team members

·         Identify and create opportunities for business growth

·         To undertake any support or administration duties as required by the Management team.

 

 

 

Person Specification:

·         Previous scheduling experience would be beneficial though not essential

·         Excellent administration and communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Professional

·         Warm, friendly, positive, cheerful personality

·         Can do attitude

·         Excellent problem solver and solution orientated

·         Excellent planning and organisational skills

·         Confident using technology

·         Ability to cope with a fast-changing environment

Essentials:

The Scheduler works 5 out of 7 days on a rota system which will include alternate weekends.
