Post:    Field Care Supervisor Accountable to:  Care Manager 
 
Job Purpose:  
 
The role of the Field Care Supervisor is a varied role whereby there is a mix of support for clients and the caregiver team. The role is to ensure that HISC delivers high quality care and builds a fantastic reputation in the local community.  
 
You will take the lead within care visits, ensuring that you provide a full introduction for caregivers and clients. 
 
You will ensure the ongoing high quality of service in line with the company ethos. 
 
You will maintain compliance with all Policy and Procedures. 
 
You will have a thorough understanding of Home Instead processes and how to deal with emergencies if they arise whilst you are oncall. 
 
All Home Instead Senior Care employees must have a relevant qualification or be willing to work towards this. 
 
Responsible for: 
 
- Attending care visits on a daily basis to cover holidays and absence - To provide support to caregivers and carryout introductions - To monitor compliance and standards in the community - To carry out field based assessments - Oncall duties at the weekend and one night in the week - To answer calls pass on relevant information to individuals and action any responses in a timely manner, including covering visits whilst oncall when required to - Ensuring client and caregiver communication is actioned - The oncall handover email and to communicate with all relevant staff - Missed start alert monitoring/follow-up
