We are looking for an enthusiastic Field Care Supervisor in the Taunton area to join a bespoke home care provider. The role of the Field Care Supervisor is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field, including the assessment and review of individual client needs and the practical supervision, instruction and support of our CAREGivers. This person will help ensure our ethos and exceptionally high standards of care is being consistently delivered. Rated Outstanding by CQC. As a Field care Supervisor your role will include the following duties:
• Carry out initial risk and needs assessments 
• Work in partnership with clients, their family, carers & healthcare professionals 
• Support our new care workers in clients homes to ensure their competence
• Carry out the on-site observation and evaluation of care workers 
• Provide ad hoc support and instruction to our CAREGivers in the field if an emergency arises 
• Promote a safe working environment 
• Be alert to any changes in clients’ condition and circumstances and act appropriately when these change

Qualifications

This role requires an ability to prioritise and sometimes work at a quick but thorough pace to ensure clients and CAREGivers are well supported.
Knowledge: You will need to have a good understanding and experience in the Health & Social Care field and the needs of the elderly. NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care is preferred
Personable: Working with elderly clients requires great time keeping, excellent listening skills, patience, calmness, politeness, empathy and compassion and being highly professional
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.00pm and some weekends on a rota basis to suit the on call process. From time to time it may be necessary to work outside of these hours, we all work a 5 day week. This person will also share the on call duties on weekdays on a rota basis. This person is required to travel throughout the local area to conduct assessments, you should have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
