We are now looking for Kitchen Assistant-cook to join our team, Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. To deliver a great guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities

1. To ensure all food preparation exceeds company and brand standards
2. Ensure kitchen health & safety procedures are adhered to
3. To ensure that all production areas comply with the required, hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness standards
4. To carry out administrative duties as required by the policies and procedures of the hotel e.g. Kitchen diary, temperature control, maintenance request lists, etc.
5. Ensure correct stock rotation on all sections, fridges, freezers & dry stores
6. Check food stock levels of items to be ordered
7. Ensure there is limited wastage and correct procedures are followed
8. Input on menu development
9. Dealing efficiently with day to day guest service queries throughout breakfast and food serving periods
10. Clear/clean tables, buffet and kitchen
11. Other ad hoc duties as and when required
12. Report anything considered a health and safety hazard
13. Prevent abuse and/or destruction of hotel property
14. Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs
15. Responsible for looking after Hotel property at all times
16. Ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
17. To attend all relevant training as and when required
18. To ensure that the company dress code is always adhered to

1. Passionate, well presented, motivated team member
2. Ideally you will have worked in a hospitality/food and beverage environment and be able to demonstrate initiative
3. You will be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with
4. You will be committed to working on a weekly rota basis, which includes shift work and working weekends
