Job Description

Reporting to the Head of PMS Sales for the DACH region we are looking for a Sales Manager who will focus his/her energy on rigorously expanding our client base and contributing to the rapid growth for our Property Management System, Hotsoft, and Back Office Software Management solution.                                            The prospective candidate should have a good knowledge of Front Desk systems and the use of IT within the Hotel and Resort industry. 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

As the Sales Manager you will seek and secure the profitable acquisition of new customers within a  pre-assigned geographic area and develop new business (where applicable) through the management of a major strategic clients as well as focusing on independent Hotels:

  • Boost the sales of in-house PMS within independent hospitality market
  • Ability to understand complex integration scenarios and understand how Hoist Group products would integrate with 3rd party vendors.
  • Knowledge of various hospitality products and interface specifications
  • Manage key accounts, hotel chains and independents directly, in a designated territory and develop solid customer relationships
  • Provide customer centric demonstrations of the core suite of Hoist Group solutions
  • Map the market and its opportunities to develop and deliver upon a sales pipeline across Hoist Group product and service offerings.
  • Sign multi-year support contracts with clients to secure a healthy recurring revenue stream for the company.
  • Negotiate and manage the contracting process to the point of signature and hand-over deals to the deployment organisation to execute.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in New Business Sales / Business Development                                      Bachelor´s degree or equivalent preferred (technical or MBA),                                                                      Experience in the Hotel industry and the use of PMS products.

  • Excellent listening, communication and negotiation skills, with an ease of developing executive relationships.

  • Cost driven and accurate; flexible yet able to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Written and spoken German and English

Hoist Group headquarter for the DACH region is located in Nuremberg.
´Home - office´ location preferably in Nordrhein Westfalen. Frequent national (and some international) business travel required.
