Job Description

Job Summary
To manage the general accounting needs of our Mediterranean region. After an introduction program, you will be the autonomous respondent for all general accounting needs, in particular, this includes following tasks:


Duties and Responsibilities

•    Ensure the integrity of financial statement/regulatory reporting information recorded in the legal entities.
•    Accounts Receivable & Payable management
•    Execute monthly closings (bank reconciliation ; fixed asset depreciation, bad debts, accrual posting ; main balance sheet /profit & loss accounts reconciliation; basic financial reporting and comments on monthly figures) 
•    Cash Management preparation  for the entities
•    Preparation of VAT returns & Intrastat
•    Support financial partner to prepare statutory accounts and income tax returns
•    Coordination and supervision of Financial audits
•    Support ad-hoc projects
The position reports directly to the Head of Finance, based in Lisbon.
 

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:
•    Educated to degree level in Accounting and/or Finance
•    Advanced Excel skills
•    Between 2 and 4 years of experience in similar role 
•    You are independent, flexible and precise, with a particular ability to work under tight deadlines.
•    You have good English proficiency.
