Job Description

Duties

  • Triage incoming security alerts and tickets for multiple clients
  • Resolve client issues, primarily related to security configurations of Azure infrastructure and Windows VMs
  • Occasionally assist with non-security related Azure Infrastructure issues (including Windows and Linux)
  • Clearly document issues, work performed, and resolutions through the ticketing system
  • Help manage the security monitoring platforms, including reviewing and tuning alerts; adding and removing systems; and improving our overall capabilities
  • Help improve internal tools, processes, and procedures
  • Consistently review and improve client documentation
  • Assist with onboarding new customers to managed services and the security monitoring platform

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Azure or Microsoft 365 management experience
  • 6+ months of experience responding to security alerts for user account, workstation, and Microsoft 365 threats
  • Azure AD and Microsoft 365 knowledge/experience
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience with Azure Log Analytics or similar logging platform, including writing and running queries

Additional Desired Skills (not required)

  • Azure Certified Administrator certification
  • PowerShell or general automation experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security tools (Microsoft Defender, M365 Security, Microsoft Sentinel)
  • Familiarity with managing and supporting Azure infrastructure and operating systems
  • Experience working in a managed service support/engineering role supporting multiple customers or organizations
  • Basic Linux OS management experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or a general understanding of DevOps processes

Additional Information

Base Salary Pay Range*: USD $63000 – USD $95000
*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
