Cloud Solution Engineers
Role and Responsibilities
The Microsoft Cloud Solution Engineer delivers technical solutions and support to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft cloud technology. The ideal candidates will have support Microsoft cloud-based solutions, migrate workloads to the cloud, and have experience with connecting and managing hybrid cloud environments.
Additional responsibilities will include supporting internal company IT activities, this could include workstation configuration, cloud resource management, and end-user troubleshooting.
Stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments.
The support of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies.
Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure, and operations implications of the developed solution.
Qualifications
Technical Skills Required
Understanding of Microsoft cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Technical experience in infrastructure support including Office 365 services, networking, virtualization, identity, security, and storage.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Non-Technical Skills Required
Services project support
Building Customer/Partner Relationships
Prior work experience in a Consulting/Support position within a software and/or services company
Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
Exceptional verbal and written communication
Additional Information
Education & Certifications
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Certifications in any of the Infrastructure exams a plus:
AZ-300/301/302/100/500 or other
Project Experience Types/Qualities
3-8+ years implementation, migration and support with cloud infrastructure as part of responsibilities, including
Exchange Online
