Job Description

Role:

​​​​​​This role is a critical part of our North American planning and operations finance team.   

  • Works closely with business leadership to create financial budgets and forecasts
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing data to support the monthly close process
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Willing to work more than 40 hours/week.  This position requires flexibility to meet with business leaders when they are available.
  • Some travel required (2-3 times/year)

Qualifications

  • BS in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • Professional services industry and D365 experience desirable
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in building new forecasting models
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Good business acumen and very detailed
