As a Solution Architect for Analytics/Business Intelligence you will be responsible to lead the design of solutions for customers in by participating in all phases of the solution life cycle. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work under dynamic conditions and can foster productive relationships with a diverse customer and partner group. You will focus on:

• Proven ability to engage customers at all levels to understand customer challenges and needs to develop technical solutions
  
• Strong delivery experience of complex Business Intelligence solutions with MS SQL Server
  
• Depth of understanding in best practices of Business Intelligence architectures and processes such as Star Schema, Tabular Design, Dimensional Modelling/Kimball
  
• Proven experience architecting all levels and areas of the solutions (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
  
• Prior experience or understanding of Azure as a solution platform for Analytics 
  
• Knowledge of Tabular Design and DAX as well as Power BI 
  
• Hands on development experience (minimum 7 years)
  
• Strong experience in projects requiring integration and customization 
  
• Experience or desire to coach, mentor and provide leadership to resources
  
• Prior Project management experience is a definitive asset
  

•    Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline;
•    Minimum of 8 years of delivery experience in both internal or consulting roles
•    A proven track record with Microsoft’s BI product suite
•    Experience with SQL Server 2014 or above (prefer 2016)
•    Azure and any associated tools such as DataLake, Hive, etc.
•    Prior experience or knowledge of Tabular Modelling with DAX experience
•    Experience with Microsoft SSAS and MDX
•    Experience with Microsoft SSRS
•    Experience with Power BI or PowerPivot
•    Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and to work with a team;
•    Prepared for domestic and international travel as required
