Serving the Communities of Berkshire – Fire Safety Legal, Technical and Enforcement Hub vacancies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for three specialist roles within a newly created Fire Safety Legal, Technical and Enforcement Hub. We are seeking to appoint passionate and committed individuals who will bring experience and dedication to drive the success of this Hub.
You will be part of a team that plays a leading role in enhancing the capacity of Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) to develop and deliver, Primary Authority Scheme management, Fire Safety Legal Enforcement and complex technical and Fire Engineering advice, as well as providing resilience within the Hub through the delivery of a core set of objectives and responsibilities.
The roles we are seeking to fill are:
- Primary Authority Scheme Lead.
- Fire Safety Legal Enforcement Lead.
- Fire Engineering Lead.
The right candidates will have a comprehensive knowledge with appropriate qualifications for each of the specialist roles as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and be an effective communicator able to advise and support.
These roles are also available as a secondment opportunity (subject to the candidate gaining permission from their current employer). These roles are fixed term for a period of approximately 24 months.
Benefits
Salary – Grade 6: £37,849 to £42,683 per annum
Full-time (37 hours per week)
We offer an excellent leave allowance of 29 days (plus bank holidays) per annum, increasing to 34 days (plus bank holidays) after completing five years’ service.
The roles will be based in our Headquarters at Newsham Court in Calcot, Reading.
