The Sr. Manager/ Director, Procurement enhances and manages the procurement process including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and the broader procurement process at HireVue.  This role is responsible for managing the Company’s procurement function and driving sourcing initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the Company’s spend.  This role partners with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver targeted savings and help manage vendor and contract risk.

• Manage the Company’s procurement function and overall sourcing strategy
• Work with Senior Leadership to develop strategies aligned with company goals; integrate procurement and category management objectives with business objectives
• Build strong relationships with vendors
• Enhance and manage the activities of a best-in-class procurement function, including but not limited to: identification of potential vendors, conducting vendor interviews, development of RFPs, analysis and evaluation of vendors and bids, risk management, negotiation of business terms and conditions, conducting vendor onboarding and ongoing vendor management 
• Monitor, and deliver on KPIs
• Direct negotiations of all procurements and renewals with suppliers involving software, services, technical materials, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain a comprehensive record system for vendors, requisitions, purchase orders, and commercial/government specifications
• Build sustainable relationships with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders; support the cross-functional stakeholders by providing guidance and assistance through their respective purchasing processes and decisions
• Identify opportunities to utilize technology and analytics more to streamline, automate and improve procure-to-pay processes
• Proactively manage vendors during the entire lifecycle, monitor contract performance and compliance, and identify opportunities for improvements in service, pricing or capabilities
• Assist FP&A team with spend forecasting

• 6-10 years of experience in purchasing, contract negotiation, and competitive price analysis and/or other relative operational experience
• Prior experience within the SaaS industry a plus
• Experience working in a global procurement environment, including work with best-in-class processes, tools and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and lead strategic initiatives for a procurement function
• Proven ability to build relationship/partnerships with business partners and vendors
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage organizational and process changes to achieve business goals
• Strong knowledge of procurement functionality and process flows within purchasing systems
• Ability to utilize strong, effective written and verbal communication across all lines of business
