We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team in the UK! If you are passionate about creating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and connecting buyers with exciting new solutions, this role is made for you. 

In this SaaS sales role, you will work closely with the Marketing and Account Executive Teams to generate qualified pipeline and opportunities via cold calling and emailing, prospecting, lead follow-up, and account research. 

The Business Development Team is at the forefront of the Revenue team at HireVue. This means that the BDR must be able to determine if our product is a good fit for a potential customer's requirements. At HireVue, BDRs are outbound focused and are tasked with strategically targeting Accounts that we believe to be a good fit for the HireVue suite of solutions and that would generate a high value pipeline for the Account Executive Team.

What you'll do as a Business Development Representative at HireVue:

  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate and nurture interest to stimulate a business inquiry.
  • Conduct high-level introductory conversations and schedule discovery calls with qualified prospects (C-Level, VP/ Director, Manager)
  • Closely work with Account Executives to generate a pipeline of qualified prospects through demand generation and targeted campaigns.
  • Utilize CRM software (SFDC) to track and manage leads and opportunities, and document all interactions.
  • Leverage a wide set of prospecting tools at your disposal such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Alyce, and UserGem.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competition.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of HireVue suite of solutions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets of sourced opportunities and pipeline generated.

Qualifications

  • Do you have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business development or sales role
  • (Preferred) Do you have at least 1 year of experience in SaaS Industry?
  • Do you have a demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas?
  • Do you project a high level of professionalism, attention to detail and business acumen?
  • Are you articulate and well-spoken with excellent written and verbal communication skills?
  • Do you have good listening skills with the ability to understand prospect and market challenges and confidence to ask questions?
  • Are you intellectually curious and possess the ability to uncover business challenges?
  • Do you have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Are you able to work independently and as part of a team?
  • Do you have experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software?
