Job Description

At HireVue, we are working to help companies and job candidates find the right fit faster with conversational AI, video interviews, coding challenges, and game-based assessments. HireVue’s Hiring Assistant product is an exciting addition to the HireVue portfolio. Implementing the product requires a deep skillset, including troubleshooting and basic system problem-solving across the areas of configuration, data integration, and APIs.

HireVue’s Hiring Assistant product is an exciting addition to the HireVue portfolio. This role will combine technical expertise with customer service to ensure our customers are using the system to its full potential.

In this role, you will work closely with Customer Success and Professional Services teams and their customers to implement the software and to solve client-specific challenges with their use of HireVue Hiring Assistant and related products. Your engagements will lead to better-prepared customers, reduced support requests, and valuable insights into process improvement.

We are looking for an individual who has impeccable ability to break apart a problem, seek out root causes, and provide potential solutions; someone who can work independently to troubleshoot and investigate and triage issues across multiple systems and data sources, but can coordinate with a matrixed project team of consultants, project managers, and integrations developers. This individual will also work directly with customers to convert their process into technical solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex files, mapping customer data to facilitate the integration of information to the HireVue system.
  • Use multiple platforms to fully build a customer solution based on input from the consulting team and customer.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configurations.
  • Work as part of multiple global teams on large customer projects, owning/delivering defined workstreams and working with a global program manager.
  • Provide data quality review and execute detailed test cases to QA and confirm proper adherence to customer requirements.
  • Work with customers and the PS team to investigate/troubleshoot customer issues, and communicate resolution updates back to customers.
  • Balance multiple priorities and tasks, adapt to a constantly changing business environment, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • Document progress, root cause analysis, and solutions and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Support and Professional Services teams on troubleshooting, and partner with Product and Engineering to escalate and resolve complex issues or bugs.
  • Independently work to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues using a variety of tools including Grafana, SQL, Postman, JSON, Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in a team environment where your work is dependent on other team members, and where you are responsible for overall quality of deliverable.

Qualifications

  • Experience with API monitoring solutions such as Grafana
  • SQL experience
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or other similar tool
  • Comfortable working with JSON
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Tier 2 technical support experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritize effectively
  • Strong teamwork skills to coordinate with project managers, consultants, and other technical team members to convert business requirements to technical implementation
