Job Description

Role Summary

This role requires strong customer management/project management capabilities as well as consulting and process transformation skills. You will be accountable for both large and medium-sized projects, with a focus on EMEA. You will ensure plans and schedules are followed, develop solutions to project challenges, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to seek opportunities to maximise customer satisfaction. This role will suit somebody with enterprise project management experience wishing to work autonomously on their own project portfolio, with minimal supervision and direction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead large, multi-product implementations autonomously and proactively, being responsible for overall project ownership and project success. Manage the project team and project tasks including project plans, communications, risk, change control, and on time delivery.

  • Take a risk-based approach to projects - from risk identification and tracking, to internal/external stakeholder management and through to issue management and resolution.

  • Coordinate project team resources across the globe, including functional and technical consultants, to ensure effective project execution on time and within budgeted hours.

  • Execute change control process as needed to align project scope, timeline, and commercials based on changing circumstances.

  • Leverage SaaS industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.

  • Measure project performance throughout the engagement to identify areas for improvement.

  • Full compliance with project administration and data expectations.

 

Consulting

  • Lead small and medium implementations as dual Project Manager/Consultant, consulting on process transformation, configuring the platform and delivering training.

  • Deliver workshops to help customers define ROI metrics, communication plans and go-live strategies.

  • Assist customers in product testing.

  • Become a ‘trusted advisor’ for your implementation clients.

 

Other

  • Share best practices and undertake mentoring/coaching within the global team.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction while tactfully pushing projects to completion for customers who are often resource constrained.

  • Continued development of product knowledge at the appropriate level for assigned projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

To successfully execute these functions you will need:

  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise work, multi-task across many assignments and customers, and create deliverables with little or no direction.

  • The ability to translate customer requirements and success criteria into implementation plans.

  • Demonstrated project management success within a SaaS software company delivering technology based HR/Recruiting solutions to enterprise customers.

  • Willingness to operate as both lead Project Manager (enterprise projects) and dual Project Manager/Consultant (small-to-medium projects).

  • Diplomacy with customers and internal resources to handle complex customer and project issues across multiple customer stakeholders and multiple internal stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills in presenting to executives as well as project team, leveraging the appropriate communication and delivery.

  • A focus on execution with the ability to self-manage through ambiguity.

  • A passion for outstanding customer service and proven success with large and complex customers.

  • Demonstrated success in project rescue and in dealing with resource-constrained customers.

  • Ability to “roll up your sleeves”, get technical when needed and perform configuration tasks according to project needs.

  • Strong internal/external multi-stakeholder management skills.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on project management experience in the enterprise software industry, ideally within the HR/Recruiting domain. 

  • Experience must have been as the project lead and you must have led multiple enterprise SaaS implementations simultaneously.

  • Sound understanding of process-mapping, requirements gathering, integrations, APIs, SSO and user testing. 

  • Experience building a network within a remote working environment and managing enterprise projects/customers virtually.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with the HireVue platform or any chatbot.

  • Project Management certification.
