The Director of IT is a highly organized self-starter with excellent attention to detail who supports HireVue’s IT needs, creating an effective and efficient workforce that supports the needs of our internal teams. The Director of IT manages an IT team responsible for the Helpdesk, Desktop Support, equipment, and provisioning. Assistance with IT security is also provided. 

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of IT is responsible for the overall planning, execution and ongoing support and troubleshooting of information technology (physical and virtual) within the organization, including recommending practical solutions, implementing best practices, creating policies and procedures, managing the IT budget, and leading organization-wide efforts to improve effective use of technology to ensure current and future needs, and providing strategic IT input to the senior leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Function at HireVue and manage the staff employed or contracted to meet HireVue IT needs internationally
  • Manage the IT budget, ensure software is appropriately priced and forecasted each fiscal year. Propose updates to the budget and work alongside Finance to prioritize needs amongst the overall company budget
  • Oversee the Helpdesk operations and report on service metrics, service level agreements, and manage areas of improvement
  • Oversee the Desktop support operations. Manage procurement of laptop hardware, facilitate repairs, and ensure hardware fleet meets employee needs and the budget
  • Oversee the System Administration operations. Ensure deployed software is appropriate for HireVue. Manage demos, trials, deployment, and spin down of software
  • Own the IT resources aspect of onboarding, role change, and offboarding process at HireVue. Ensure employee IT access is provisioned, updated, and removed accordingly
  • Sit on the Information Security Management System Committee and ensure IT operations are in compliance with existing certifications and new certifications HireVue pursues
  • Participate in annual certification and customer audits. Identify process improvements and help resolve audit findings
  • Maintain positive relationships with company and department leadership. Help each department deploy and manage software to meet their team needs and project manage changes
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to systems integrations
  • Ensure security patches and vulnerabilities are mitigated in a timely manner
  • Facilitate team member learning & development
  • Manage office facility networking and uptime. Ensure each office is equipped for employee needs
  • Responsible for SLC office IT and AV needs for meetings and team gatherings
  • Oversee team member KPIs, schedules, compensation, and merit opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in an IT Leadership role
  • 5-10 years experience in the IT industry
  • Strong networking, hardware, and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of MDM for mobile and desktop OS
  • Experience with SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP certifications a plus
  • Technical certifications a plus
