Job Description

The Salesforce Business Analyst supports HireVue’s Sales organization by ensuring an integrated, operationally sound, and analytical approach to Salesforce and related CRM systems across the department through:

  • Data analysis/reporting, forecasting, and planning

  • Identifying and prioritizing improvements to Salesforce/integrated systems to boost productivity and adoption

  • Driving department communication both internal to the Sales department and to other business functions 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Salesforce Requests

  • Manage and prioritize requests for improvements, integrations, and new configurations

  • Projects may be delegated to or co-managed with the Sales support team

Improve Salesforce Productivity

  • Institute key metrics focused on quality of activity and aligned with revenue attainment

  • Maximize the effective use of Salesforce and third-party tools/integrations

  • Stay up-to-date with new features and functionality

  • Oversee Salesforce instance cleanliness to mitigate current and future issues

Own Reporting

  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast roll-up and analysis 

  • Data sanitation and visualization

  • Analysis, consolidation, and dashboard reporting of key performance metrics

Territory, Compensation, and Incentive Planning 

  • Maintain sales territory plans

  • Perform administration of sales compensation policy plans

Sales Department Communication 

  • Consolidate information and communication to Sales organization

  • Serve as an effective conduit between Sales and other internal business functions

Support Sales Team Systems

  • Support systems including: Outreach, ZoomInfo, Traction Complete, DemandTools, Clozd, UserGems, D&B, DocuSign, etc.

  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to plan lead distribution

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Established background in Salesforce/CRM systems administration (certifications preferred, but not required)

  • Solid understanding of financial and recurring revenue principles

  • Advanced understanding of Excel, Tableau, and/or comparable data analysis/visualization and reporting tools

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Adept at strategic planning and tactical execution
