My client provides services for refrigeration and air conditioning system design, alternative refrigerant evaluation, product freezing/cooling response evaluations, energy studies, and computerized plan performance evaluations. They also provide construction and equipment maintenance and repair for other industrial and commercial refrigeration and HVAC needs
Job Description
Qualified candidates will be responsible for supporting our Service Group technicians and understanding their skill sets to ensure we are able to meet our clients’ needs.
The Service Coordinator will develop and implement processes that ensure we are delivering the best service possible to our clients and will work closely with the sales staff to provide technical input when necessary.
- Work as part of a dispatch team with other Service Coordinators
- Knowledge of technicians’ locations and schedules at all times
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to appropriate service appointments
- Serve as department liaison with clients both internal and external; handling calls, answering inquiries and conducting follow up as necessary
- Coordinate material, part, equipment rentals, and tool purchases for service technicians
- Set up and maintain whatever client and/or tracking databases are required.
- Collect, reconcile and submit service technician timesheets
- Work closely with Service Manager to prepare annual execution plan of service calls and service techs (matches level of work to skill of tech)
- Schedule all monthly PM calls per schedule
Qualifications
- Experience leading in a technical environment (HVAC/R) is strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen including a solid understanding of service contracts, an eye for detail and superior customer service skills
- Possesses a high level of initiative coupled with the intuition to make sound decisions quickly
- Computer literacy including use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic ERP navigation skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software is preferred.
- Superior interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; detail oriented organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple objectives and properly prioritize workload
- Experience with Jonas Software considered a plus
Additional Information
Associates degree in a Technical or Business discipline desired, with a minim um of 3 years’ experience supporting a team withing a services business, preferably in the HVAC/R industry.
