Job Description
Our client, a full-service design and branding agency, is hiring a Business Development Specialist to join the team. This role is ideal for a proactive and charismatic individual who excels in building relationships and has a knack for identifying and closing sales opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will involve in-person networking, engaging with various community groups, and effectively closing sales deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-Person Networking: Actively participate in local and regional events to foster business relationships. Build a robust network by connecting with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Community Engagement: Engage with different community groups to understand their needs and how our services can address those needs. Represent the company at community events, workshops, and public speaking engagements.
- Understanding Customer Needs: Conduct research and direct interactions with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges. Use these insights to tailor our offerings and create value-added solutions.
- Sales Closure: Identify and pursue sales opportunities by utilizing insights gathered from customer interactions and networking. Develop effective strategies for negotiating and closing deals.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of networking activities, leads generated, and sales closed. Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on customer engagement and needs analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel for networking and business development activities.
