Job Description

Senior Accountant - CPA preferred

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage assurance-related deliverables, including reviews, agreed-upon procedures, compilation of financial statements, and various letters and reports to management and third parties for multiple clients and engagements.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Practice management activities
  • Accounting work in ACS or QuickBooks plus team assistance with audits, reviews, and financial statement compilation
  • Preparation of personal, partnership, corporation, trust, and exempt organization tax returns
  • Building new and expanding existing client relationships
  • Handling federal and state audits and corresponding with tax authorities

You will communicate with clients beyond the course of engagements and are expected to be an advisor, bringing significant value to the relationship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • A U.S. CPA certification (or in process)
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in public accounting
  • Strong accounting, tax, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working experience with ACS, UltraTax CS, and QuickBooks
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership
  • Flexibility to constantly learn, grow and impact our stakeholders
