Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Keep user IT tools up to date and fully functional on both Windows and Mac.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security principles.

  • Maintain and manage cloud and on-premises resources and services.

  • Assist users with internal applications.

  • Ensure IT tools are procured in line with requirements and expectations.

  • Actively participate in the selection, acquisition, and installation of laptops, monitors, and routers.

  • Support colleagues with your knowledge while continuously developing your expertise.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues.

  • Automate repetitive tasks.

  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an operational or user support role.

  • Strong conversational English skills, both written and spoken.

  • Interest in tackling technology solutions outside your comfort zone, whether in the cloud or on-premises.

  • Motivation to solve complex and varied IT challenges.

  • Ability to take apart and reassemble a computer with confidence.

  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues via chat, phone, and in person - sometimes simultaneously - while solving issues.

  • Ability to understand the needs and language of developers, recruiters, finance, marketing, and operations teams.

  • High standards for the quality of your work.

  • Eagerness to take on new challenges and continue learning and developing professionally.

  • A good sense of humor, which is a key element of the Hiflylabs Internal IT Team culture.


Nice to have

  • Azure knowledge

  • MacOS/Linux knowledge

  • Basic/intermediate networking skills

  • Knowledge of scripting languages
