Job Description
We are Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s eyes and ears, assessing global macroeconomic developments for foreign currency and other global market implications. Our seasoned Foreign Exchange (FX) hedging programs are best in class and significant in scale. You will have the opportunity to impact HPE’s bottom line directly, with critical business insights and mitigating actions, all communicated to senior executives in real-time.
Responsibilities –
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to analyze and report FX-related impacts to business performance. Analyze and communicate recommendations related to hedge strategies and other FX risk management topics Perform risk analysis and advice related to specific transactions and other ad-hoc items
- Passion for global markets and international business
- Strong problem solving and analytical reasoning
- Self-starter, able to draw solid, independent conclusions based on ambiguous information
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex information into executive-level form
- Financial modelling expertise and good business understanding
- High motivation and desire to learn quickly
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Unafraid to challenge assumptions and status quo; comfortable with change
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or other quantitative field from top tier university.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience (sales & trading, banking, consulting, or corporate treasury).
- Familiarity with FX markets and/or experience in exposure forecasting, analysis, trading and hedge accounting preferred.
- Advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
Skills and Strengths
- Work closely with business and FP&A counterparts to prepare exposure forecasts.
- Execute FX transactions with counter-party banks.
- Track and evaluate program execution and counter-party relationships.
- Monitor global markets and related implications.
