Pavilion Entertainment a new media company incorporated in Trinidad and Tobago. It is dedicated to the original production of media projects and the regional distribution of both original and franchise programming.

Job Description
The IT Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both first and second line support of end user systems and core applications. The IT Technician will ensure that high-value business equipment such as cameras, lighting and specialised technology are properly maintained and repaired with the minimum of downtime. Primary job duties and responsibilities will be to:
• Service equipment regularly, carrying out scheduled maintenance and replacing worn or faulty parts
• Repair equipment, diagnosing and fixing faults on site, and logging repairs on a database
• Install, configure and calibrate equipment and train staff in the safe use of the equipment
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of media equipment and resources
• Maintain an archive of production work
Qualifications
Qualifications and competencies include:
• Bachelor degree in IT or at least 6 years’ IT experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in Film and Media from an IT support point of view
• Detailed understanding of video and camera hardware
• Experience with iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS products
• Ability to understand technical diagrams and manuals
• Working knowledge of maths, science and technology
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and chemical health and safety issues
• Strong problem-solving skills
