Job Description

Business Development interns will work directly with the business development team to help gain a deep understanding of Her Campus's marketing services and opportunities, to effectively communicate and pitch them to potential clients. Interns will support the team in sales and marketing research on clients' and potential clients' existing marketing initiatives, and industry news and trends, identify new advertisers to target for outbound lead pipeline, contribute to internal brainstorms to create custom branded campaigns, and assist Business Development Team in reaching monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Interns may also have the opportunity to be involved with client campaigns, and the preparation of Her Campus Media tentpole events (Her Conference Series, College Fashion Week).

Qualifications

  • Current college undergraduate - must be rising junior or senior

  • Strong communication, organization and strategic thinking skills

  • Working Knowledge of all Microsoft Office platforms

  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient and creative work ethic

  • Passionate about Her Campus Mission

  • Interest in sales, marketing, event planning, management and creative thinking.

Additional Information

Internships are available to current college students each semester (fall, spring, and summer) on a full-time or part-time basis both in our Boston office and remotely (unless otherwise specified). Interns are eligible for a stipend pending internship location. Academic credit is available and required for all interns regardless of location.
