Her Campus Media is seeking a part-time Coordinator, Community Marketing (Brand Ambassador Programs) to join our Community Marketing team. In this position, you will play an integral role in the execution of our brand ambassador and influencer marketing programs for our client partners who are looking to engage with Gen Z on campus and beyond. You will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing brand ambassadors and content creators, serving as a day-to-day point of contact, and guiding them through the campaign from start to finish. This role has a heavy emphasis on collaboration, organization, communication, problem-solving, and creativity. You will work closely with our Community Marketing and Integrated Marketing Team to help ensure influencers/ambassadors are engaged and set up for success, that our programs run seamlessly, and that our strategies reflect the pulse of Gen Z. This role reports directly to the Director of Community Marketing and requires a commitment of 20 hours per week.
 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for brand ambassadors and content creators who will act as on-the-ground brand representatives and may perform tasks such as managing social media accounts, hosting events, passing out samples and more
  • Execute day-to-day community management and marketing activities for designated College Fashionista and Campus Trendsetters brand ambassador programs
  • Facilitate ambassador recruitment, application and vetting, onboarding and launch process from end to end, which may include evaluating applications and conducting interviews, and devising resourceful, creative strategies for recruiting ambassadors from particular schools and markets
  • Create campaign briefs, guidelines and resources for brand ambassadors and content creators based on client guidelines, which include timelines, messaging, and requirements for their scope of work as well as resources for the creation of ambassadorship social media accounts 
  • Review ambassador and creator-submitted content before it is published, ensuring it adheres to all FTC and client requirements
  • Organize, monitor and track campaign updates and deliverables as they are fulfilled, ensuring all participating members are following guidelines and timelines
  • Oversee weekly ambassador performance tracking, analyzing data and delivering detailed feedback to foster engagement, retention and areas of improvement
  • Facilitate ambassador calls and advisory board activities, including but not limited to surveys, focus groups, and program kick-off calls
  • Collaborate with the Community Leadership and Integrated Marketing Teams to help ideate and implement best-in-class campus events and activities
  • Think creatively and strategically about how to optimize our brand ambassador/influencer programs, approaching work with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or on track to receive degree by 2023
  • Previous experience as a college brand ambassador strongly preferred; ideally with a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand
  • Previous job or internship experience in marketing and/or other relevant experience in advertising, PR, or communications 
  • Strong interest in influencer marketing, social media, and/or experiential marketing
  • Rigorous attention to detail and superb writing and editing skills
  • Excellent phone, face-to-face and email communication skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • A proactive self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and be collaborative while working remotely
  • Fluency with social media; knowledge of Google Workspace, Asana, and Slack a plus
