Job Description
Her Campus Media is seeking a remote part-time Community Management Coordinator (contracted to 20 hours per week) to support the Community department in the expansion and management of our campus and influencer communities, including the InfluenceHer Collective, College Fashionista, Campus Trendsetters, Her Campus and Spoon University Chapter Networks as well as our high school and alumni initiatives.
The Coordinator will be the first person a prospective community member connects with at Her Campus Media and will play a critical role in ensuring positive, unique community member experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering relationships, empowering students to make meaningful progress in their areas of interest and using data to support ideas and increase growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review and process new community member applications for InfluenceHer Collective, College Fashionista and Campus Trendsetters and chapter leader applications for Her Campus
Manage new chapter launch and community member onboarding processes from beginning to end, which may include editing chapter content and working with Product & Engineering and Design teams
Create content for and assist in managing community social media groups and accounts
Update and maintain internal databases with key information for respective communities
Support Community leadership in implementing innovative community programming, resources and incentives
Assist with special projects as needed, which may include supporting Spoon University community operations
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or on track to receive degree by 2023
Her Campus Media community leadership and experience preferred
Excellent phone, in-person and email communication skills
Rigorous attention to detail, organization and time management
Superb writing and editing skills
Creative thinker and problem-solver
Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple projects without close management and supervision
Self-starter with go-getter attitude, goal-oriented mindset and excellent work ethic who doesn’t mind getting his/her hands dirty and is excited about working in a startup environment
Fluency with social media and typical office technology and software; knowledge of AP Style, Google Analytics, Google Drive, Mailchimp and Wufoo a plus
