Then the water enters the main tank where KDF and granulated activated carbon (GAC) remove chlorine, heavy metals (including lead), tastes, odors and chemicals. All the water in your home - kitchen, bath, showers, and laundry are filtered! The media filters approximately 300,000 gallons of water (about 3 years).
