Job Description
As a Lead Registered Nurse in Critical Procedures for Internal Medicine, you'll be at the heart of our clinic—delivering exceptional patient care while inspiring and developing a talented team of nursing and support staff. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference: you'll spend approximately 30% of your time building and mentoring your team, and 70% providing direct patient care in critical procedures. It's the perfect blend of hands-on clinical excellence and meaningful leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Inspire and Develop Your Team: Lead and mentor four or more staff members (RNs, MAs, CSRs, etc.), creating a culture where clinical excellence, professional growth, and compassionate care thrive. Watch your team grow and excel under your guidance.
- Deliver Patient-Centered Excellence: Apply the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to coordinate comprehensive care and meaningful patient education that transforms outcomes.
- Champion Clinical Leadership: Supervise and delegate clinical responsibilities with confidence, ensuring quality standards are met and optimal patient outcomes are achieved across every procedure.
- Master Critical Procedures: Demonstrate clinical expertise in critical procedures while staying current with best practices and evidence-based protocols that define the future of patient care.
- Foster Seamless Collaboration: Partner with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure clear communication and coordinated care that puts patients first.
